Welcome to the official website for Hawaiian Express Records!
Started by Jason Miller in order to support a talented group of musicians in the Hawaiian islands,
Hawaiian Express is involved in making music available through live concerts with local and visiting bands,
as well as recordings that have been on everything from cassette tapes, to vinyl records,
to CD's and DVD's. I also work hard to host a concert calendar that is dedicated to live 'alternative' music and little else.
When possible, I promote shows, sponsor shows, and even support shows that I have nothing to do with.
The biggest event to date is the annual Sailor Jerry Festival. If you'd like to know more,

A little glimpse into why donating my time and energy and funds continues to roll on year after year:
"Hi Jason,
I just wanted to thank you... Ive been going through, what seems a limitless amount of music Hawaiian Express has to offer...
Im appreciative of what is available, from Go Jimmy Go live @ ktuh to hwnexp compilation volume 1 (CLASSIC) to Monday Night Live @ ktuh,
to albums from the 86 list, power pellets, unit 101, grapefruit, the sticklers (one of my favorite local punk bands of all time!), etc, etc.
i cant wait to see the Raymonds, the Pettyfords, Mistermeanor, & countless more... I cant thank you enough for you efforts & drive on
giving the local alternative scene past & present, a platform to be heard... I might not be able to get out to shows as much as
I use to, but this is the next best thing! I am forever grateful & keep up the great work... I will check in now & again
hoping for new content... thanks again!
